Why Ultra-Fin®

Radiant Heat Without the Complexity

Ultra-Fin can be installed from above or below and adapted to solid joists, I-joists and open-web trusses. Each method uses a straightforward combination of tubing and Ultra-Fin heat emitters without concrete, added floor height or unnecessary components.

OPEN-WEB TRUSS METHOD

Route the tubing through the open webs and attach the Ultra-Fin heat emitters. No drilling or separate hangers required.

No concrete, screed or added structural weight.

DRILLED-JOIST METHOD

Route the tubing through holes drilled at specified intervals. The joist supports the tubing without requiring separate hangers.

Efficient comfort with heat pumps or boilers.

TOP-DOWN METHOD

Install from above when the floorboards or subfloor have been removed. Ultra-Clip brackets and tubing offcuts create simple, adjustable supports.

SUSPENDED METHOD

Snake hangers or Ultra-Clips supports suspend the tubing scurely within the cavity, allowing continuous routing with drilling required only at the end returns.
